This is a quick read…I actually read it on an airplane ride from Dallas to Columbia, SC about 2 years ago. It reads quickly, but it really challenges how you approach your work, your family, even your life!! This is a book of anecdotes meant to prove a point…the answer to the question you are asking is YOU!!

Fridays with Kipp

This is the inaugural post in my “Fridays with Kipp” blog. Patterned after the book “Tuesdays with Morrie”, which I’ve never read, I intend to post my thoughts on several topics during my early Friday morning “Thinking Time” (no, not there…in my office)!!

Because of my position with Janssen Pharmaceutica, I am exposed to many different leadership styles, both good and bad, and I also get to attend many talks, conferences, and seminars around leadership, management, and people. I intend to use this blog to capture what I see as the essence of effective leadership, but also broaden that topic to marketing, selling, strategic planning, and overall success in your profession, whatever that profession might be.

I know, it doesn’t really sound like “fun, lighthearted reading”, but I promise that you will enjoy my take on these topics. I also want to intersperse my “Book of the Month”, which will be a book on Leadership/Selling/Strategy that I’m sure you will enjoy!!
